MindMint terms of service

1. Acceptance & Service

By downloading, installing, or using MindMint (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. MindMint is a trivia and brain training application that provides daily challenges, practice rounds, and educational entertainment content. The App is operated by Mandal Software ENK, trading as Norevo (Org.nr 927 285 703), Lørenskog, Norway.

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use MindMint. Your username is public: it appears on the global leaderboard and in challenges. Do not use your real name or anything offensive or misleading. Your recovery code lets anyone who has it move your progress to their phone. Keep it private. You can create a new code in Settings, which disables the old one.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: • Use the App for any illegal purpose • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the App • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage on leaderboards • Impersonate other users or submit offensive usernames • Interfere with the App’s operation or other users’ experience

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of your username and any content you create within the App. Our Content: Mandal Software owns all rights to the App, including its design, code, graphics, animations, and branding. Trivia questions may be sourced from third-party databases (OpenTDB) and are subject to their respective licenses. Cosmetics: Virtual items purchased with MintCoins (avatars, streak colors) are licensed to you and are non-transferable. They have no real-world monetary value.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

MindMint Pro is an optional paid subscription offering premium features including unlimited practice, ad-free experience, and exclusive cosmetics. • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at confirmation of purchase, at the price displayed in the App. • Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate. • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device’s Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play Store → Subscriptions (Android). • Refunds are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies and applicable consumer protection laws. • This app is licensed to you under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. MintCoins are a virtual in-app currency earned through gameplay. They can be used to purchase cosmetic items within the App. MintCoins have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded.

6. Advertisements

Free users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads. Ad content is determined by Google and is not controlled by MindMint. MindMint Pro subscribers do not see advertisements.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of trivia questions or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mandal Software’s total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you have paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to cheating, offensive behavior, or fraudulent activity. You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your account and associated data in Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing contact@norevo.io.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Norway, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
