1. What We Collect

MindMint does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location. Account data (on our servers): a random device identifier created by the app, your username, a secret device key (stored only in scrambled form), and your recovery code (stored only in scrambled form). Gameplay data (on our servers): total points, current streak, daily scores, which practice questions you have already seen, and challenges you send or receive (both players’ usernames, scores and answers). Data that stays on your device: settings, achievements, cosmetics, coins, accuracy per category and your answer history. Purchase data: subscription status, handled by Apple/Google and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details. Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver requests and to protect the service against abuse (rate limiting).

2. What Is Public

Your username, points and streak are shown on the global leaderboard. Players you challenge, or who challenge you, see your username, score and answers for that challenge. Choose a username that does not identify you.

3. Why We Use It (Legal Basis)

• To provide the game, leaderboard, challenges and account recovery: performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). • To keep the service secure and prevent cheating: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). • Personalised advertising: your consent, which you give or refuse in the consent and tracking prompts (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change it at any time in your device settings.

4. Advertising

Free users see ads from Google AdMob. With your consent, AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier to show personalised ads; without it, ads are non-personalised. Ad content is limited to material suitable for teens. The ad service is not started for MindMint Pro subscribers. See Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

5. Service Providers

Cloudflare (US/global): API hosting and database. Google AdMob (US): advertising (free users only). RevenueCat (US): subscription management. Expo (US): delivers app updates; receives your device type, app version and IP address when checking for updates. Apple / Google: app distribution and payments. OpenTDB: trivia questions; no user data is shared. Some providers are in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How Long We Keep It

• Seen practice questions: 90 days. • Finished or expired challenges: 30 days. • Daily scores: 1 year. • Account data: until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. This removes your data from our servers immediately; copies in our database backups are overwritten within 30 days. In other players’ remaining challenges your username is replaced with “[deleted]”.

7. Age Requirement

MindMint is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 is using the app, contact us and we will delete the account.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: • Access a copy of your data, or receive it in a portable format • Correct it (you can change your username in Settings) • Erase it (Settings → Delete Account) • Restrict or object to processing • Withdraw consent for personalised ads For access or export requests, email contact@norevo.io and include your username. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, www.datatilsynet.no) or your local authority.

9. Security and Breaches

Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Device keys and recovery codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. If a breach affects your data, we will notify Datatilsynet within 72 hours and inform affected users where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version, and we will tell you in the app about significant changes.
