Fogline Rally privacy policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Fogline Rally has no accounts and never asks who you are. Most of what it keeps stays on your device. The only things that leave your device are a random ID, an optional nickname and your daily time trial times, so they can go on the public leaderboard. This policy covers the Fogline Rally apps for Android and iPhone and the web game at fogline.oddbit.games.

1. What Stays on Your Device
Your best times, ghost car, paints, day streak, settings (music, sound, co-driver voice, controls, camera), multiplayer name and the leaderboard ID below are saved on your device. Fogline Rally uses no cookies. If you steer by tilting your phone, the motion readings are used for steering only and never leave the phone. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the site's data in your browser, deletes all of it.
2. What Goes to Our Server
A random ID made by the game the first time you post a time trial. Our server stores only a scrambled (salted SHA-256) version of it, to keep one best run per device. Deleted with your runs after 7 days. Your nickname, if you set one. Without one you show as Driver-XXXX, a tag that changes every day. Kept 7 days. Your time trial result: total time and when you set it, to rank the daily board and stop obviously fake runs. Kept 7 days. Multiplayer: your room name, chosen car and your car's position are sent to the other drivers in your room while you race. Not stored; gone when the room closes. We don't store IP addresses, don't log requests, and don't use analytics, ads or tracking. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
3. What Is Public
The daily leaderboard is public: anyone can see the names and times on it. Please don't use your real name as your nickname. Offensive names are refused or replaced.
4. Your Choices
• Post my times on the Leaderboard screen turns posting off. Your times then stay on your device only. • Forget me on the Leaderboard screen deletes all your runs from the server straight away and removes the ID from your device. • You can also email contact@norevo.io to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it.
5. Service Providers
Cloudflare (US/global): the leaderboard, the multiplayer server and the web game run on Cloudflare Pages, Workers and D1. To deliver requests, Cloudflare's network necessarily processes your IP address under its own privacy policy and data processing terms. The leaderboard database keeps automatic backups for up to 7 days, so deleted rows are fully gone within 7 days. Apple / Google: app distribution. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Legal Basis
We handle leaderboard data because a public daily leaderboard is the service you choose to use when you post a time (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), and our legitimate interest in keeping the board fair, Art. 6(1)(f)). You can stop at any time with the switch above.
7. Children
Fogline Rally has no age gate and collects nothing that identifies you. Younger players should use a made-up nickname, or turn posting off.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or export your data, and to object to processing. Email contact@norevo.io. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, www.datatilsynet.no) or your local authority.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
